Speckle Debugging Update #1

I resaved the tiff files in GIMP in hope of fixing the warning/error.  In running the black particles through the culler again, I got this set of stats:

Based upon the particles in the viewport, it looks like the black particles are located together in a supposedly transparent area now. 

 
I reran the black particles again to see where they were located.  Scattered all over the place...  so for some reason the code is just failing to perform the texture lookup correctly on various particles.
